Sudoku – Player’s Guide

Every Sudoku has a unique solution that can be reached logically. Enter numbers into the blank spaces so that each row, column and 3×3 box contains the numbers 1 to 9 without repeats.

Your objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 subgrids (boxes, blocks, or regions) that compose the grid contain all of the digits from 1 to 9. The puzzle setter prvides a partially complete grid, which for a well-posed puzzle has a single solution.
